The plan to paralyze London Heathrow's traffic on Friday morning was foolhardy and it seems that it has failed for the time being: climate activists of the Heathrow Break group had announced for four o'clock that they wanted to disrupt take-offs and landings at Britain's largest airport with toy drones.
The London police reported two arrests on Friday morning. The men had been arrested for an appointment to disturb public order. Heathrow Airport reported that its operations were normal and uninterrupted. "There are no breaks, runways and runway remain open."
A video released by Heathrow Pause is said to show the activists near the airport trying unsuccessfully to launch a drone.

During the arrest, Hallam told SPIEGEL she was associated with Heathrow Break. Their plan was to bring several drones near the airport in the early morning hours. However, these should fly only at head height, in order not to endanger the flight operations.
