The Ministry of Health has extended the isolation guideline to South and East Asia this evening (Sunday), and ordered anyone coming from Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Macau to stay in isolation for two weeks, even without symptoms. The ministry has also instructed anyone with symptoms after staying in one of these countries to contact their physician, in advance of their arrival, and to take measures such as mouth and nose coverage with a medical mask.

Health Minister Yaakov Litzman addressed the directive, saying: "There is another increase in several countries near China where the corona reached and people have passed away.
