Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Talaba affirmed his country's support for the sovereignty, independence and unity of Syrian territories and its desire to enhance cooperation with Syria in various fields.
Speaking during a meeting in Prague today, Amira Karawani, acting Chargé d'affaires of the Syrian Embassy, expressed the importance of the independent work of the Constitutional Discussion Committee, which was formed.
Talaba also referred to the recently approved humanitarian and development assistance program for Syria, which the Czech government will begin by renovating five hospitals and providing them with modern medical equipment.
