Deported people celebrate Thanksgiving in El Salvador

Once again, a group of Salvadorans deported from the United States met to celebrate Thanksgiving in San Salvador.

(CNN) - Once again a group of Salvadorans deported from the United States met to celebrate Thanksgiving in San Salvador.

These are people who lived for several years in the United States and who for different reasons were deported but keep alive the traditions they learned while living undocumented.

MIRA : Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador would receive asylum seekers from the US

The meeting was organized by the Salvadoran Migrant Institute (INSAMI) with the purpose that returnees can share this tradition with others.
