In fact, this is not the first time in the last two weeks that the Wikipedia values of the "Corona" and "SARS" viruses, originating in China, have been edited and have included particularly blatant language, racist revelations and misleading information to the public. The site allows users from all over the world to edit the pages freely, making it possible to publish false information easily. This capability also allows for blatant language distribution, aimed at China's citizens. Wikipedia editors have corrected the value, but it can still be freely edited, including additional values, such as Eyal Golan, which we reported a few weeks ago.

Last Monday, the Ministry of Health officially announced that it would require employers in the economy not to allow workers who should be in solitary confinement due to fear of exposure to the virus. The ministry also announced that it would issue a valid sick leave certificate to anyone to whom the isolation obligation applies. Currently, the number of victims of the virus has risen to 565 and the number of infections in China has risen to 28,344, while the vast majority are in China. It was also reported that 1,339 people who had the virus recovered.

Just about any entry can be edited on Wikipedia, and it's important to note when a recent entry has been made, and whether it's done by a user who has a positive history on the site. After browsing a specific value, click "Previous Versions" in the upper right. In the new screen that opens, you can see all the times the value has been overwritten, and most times you can also see the reason for it. It is important to make sure that alongside the latest version, a signed user uses a site rather than a random IP address consisting of numbers and points. It is also advisable to click the "Talk" and "Donate" buttons to verify that this is an established user who has already written other entries on the site.
