Borussia Dortmund hit a goal and missed a penalty during a goalless draw at home to Barcelona in the opening round of Group F in the Champions League in the first appearance of Lionel Messi this season with the Spanish champions.

Dortmund were awarded a penalty after a foul on Sancho and Reus shot but Ter Stegen continued to shine against the German captain.
