(ANSA) - NAPLES, MARCH 23 - 136 patients are hospitalized in the facilities of the Azienda dei Colli, in Naples, between the Cotugno hospitals, the regional reference center for infectious diseases, and Monaldi. The availability of beds, in the ordinary hospitalization regime, which also includes a sub-intensive rate, is exhausted, because those available are currently occupied. Of the 136 inpatients, 127 are confirmed cases of alcoronavirus positivity, while for 9 other patients the outcome of the swabs is awaited. In Intensive Care, there are currently 15 people in total. In the Monaldi Hospital, another 6 'free' beds are located in the intensive care unit.
In the near future, new beds will be activated in the newly refurbished apartment in Cotugno, to cope with the increase in hospitalizations.
