The FC Penzberg futsal team had to solve a compulsory task against Villalobos FC - and they succeeded with a win. Two new FCP players introduced themselves equally well.

Penzberg - It was a compulsory task - and the futsal team from FC Penzberg confidently fulfilled it. The Upper Bavarian won the home game in the Regionalliga Süd against the penultimate, Villalobos FC, in double figures with 16: 1 (8: 0). In the table, the Penzbergers with the success from the relegation zone, are now seventh. With the eighth, the SV Pars Neu-Isenburg, however, they are tied. The last three teams are relegated from the ten-team league.

FC Penzberg: good combinations and 16 goals

Villalobos had only come with a mini troop - four field players and a goalkeeper. The people of Baden (the team belongs to SG Siemens Karlsruhe) have had personnel problems for some time. "They played with such a thin squad in the past few weeks," said FCP player coach Maximilian Kalus. This explains the violent bankruptcies of Karlsruhe; among other things there was a 0:27 against FC Deisenhofen. The Penzberg also had Villalobos well under control. "It was a relatively easy game for us, but we still played and combined quite well," praised Kalus. He gave a special praise to the two newcomers, Akif Abasikeles and Alen Patak. "These are two really good kickers," said Kalus about the two players from Grün-Weiß Ingolstadt.

FC Penzberg: Two entrances from Grün-Weiß Ingolstadt

The Penzberger played against the district league at the Upper Bavarian indoor championship. Since the Ingolstadt team had canceled their futsal team in the Bayernliga due to a lack of staff, the Penzberg team took advantage of the hour to guide the two playful green-whites to the Oberland. "They had offers from FC Ingolstadt and TSV 1860 Munich, so I'm all the more pleased that they agreed to us," said Kalus. At TSV 1860 Munich, former FCP coach Thomas Dötsch takes care of the futsal team.

The two additions were in the one-sided game - Villalobos often did not come from their own half for minutes - four times in the goal scorers list. Patak scored three times and Abasikeles scored once. Kalus contributed another four goals to the Kanters win. Johannes Huber netted twice, Marco Hiry, Tasso Fytanidis and Sandu Poplacean each scored one goal. There were also two guests own goals. Villalobos' goal of honor fell shortly after 10-0. A little later, the guests received a red card (28th), so that they had to play the game outnumbered.

FC Penzberg: It was necessary to relocate the game at short notice

FC Penzberg has a longer break in the regional league. The next game will take place on Sunday, March 15th. In their home hall, the Penzberger meet archrival FC Deisenhofen. The last came against GO Rhein-Main-Futsal beyond 6: 6.

As for the game date against Villalobos FC, the Penzberg could just avert a faux pas. The home game had actually been scheduled for the afternoon of February 23. On closer inspection, the date turned out to be Mardi Gras, when the “Gaudi worm” completely dominated the action in Penzberg. "Thank goodness Villalobos agreed to relocate," said Sepp Siegert, the sporting director of the FCP. So the game went on the evening before.
