Graduation of the fourth batch of students of academic programs of the Excellence and Innovation Authority

The Excellence and Creativity Commission celebrated today the graduation of the fourth batch of students of academic programs at the Commission on the runway of Damascus University.

The batch includes 47 students who graduated from the National Center of Excellence and continued their university studies within the academic programs prepared for them as distinguished in Damascus and Tishreen Universities and the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology in Damascus within the disciplines of `` Mechatronics, Information Systems Engineering, Communication Engineering, Laser Technology, Biomedical Sciences and Materials Science and Engineering ''.

In a speech, Dr. Khaldoun Darwish, Director of Academic Programs at the Commission, stressed that this constellation of graduates and their predecessors constitute a lever for development and scientific research in Syria, calling on government bodies and institutions to create appropriate incubators and fertile environment for graduates to follow up their research and benefit from it in support of development and reconstruction.

Dr. Darwish also called on the graduates to take advantage of their outstanding energies as they are now at the gates of a new experience in pursuing the march of excellence within a new social, cultural and linguistic milieu.

In the speech of the graduates, student Miqdad Ismail, winner of the first place in the program of laser science and technology that "the responsibility placed on us is great and requires more work, ambition and diligence", expressing thanks to everyone who contributed in providing the appropriate environment to complete their study and to reach the graduation day, which is the fruit The effort and fatigue made by the students united the difficult conditions imposed by the war.

The graduation ceremony included musical and musical pieces presented by a group of graduates in a reference to the spirit of excellence and creativity they possess in more than one field in addition to the distribution of certificates to graduates.

It is scheduled that the graduates will join their colleagues who preceded them by the external delegation to pursue postgraduate studies, which number 139 distinguished and distinguished pursuing their studies at the universities "Moscow State, St. Petersburg and Kazan" to reach the highest degrees of educational attainment while ensuring their work after repatriation in the most important scientific and research institutions and bodies With their new and advanced knowledge and broad scientific horizons.

The Excellence and Innovation Commission comprises three departments: the Syrian Scientific Olympiad and the National Center of Excellence and Academic Programs. The total number of students of academic programs reaches 420 students from the National Center of Excellence.
