The broadcasting of intimate videos prompted Benjamin Griveaux to give up running for the mayor of Paris on Friday, February 14. In this case, the former candidate LREM lodged a complaint against X and the Paris prosecutor's office opened an investigation.

Alexandra de Taddeo, recipient of the videos and partner of the Russian activist Piotr Pavlenski who broadcast them, was charged and placed under judicial supervision.

The 29-year-old young woman was charged with "invasion of privacy" and "distribution without the person's consent of a recording of words or images of a sexual nature obtained with her consent or by itself ". His judicial review prevents him from contacting Piotr Pavlenski, also indicted for the same reasons.

In this case, a third character intervenes: the lawyer and essayist Juan Branco, who says to have " advised " Pavlenski on the legal aspects of the publication of the videos.
