Gold prices rose today affected by the spread of Corona virus outside China, which increased the demand for safe haven assets.
Reuters reported that gold rose 0.8 percent to $ 1,651,951 an ounce, while US gold futures increased by 0.7 percent, to $ 1,654.
As for other precious metals, silver rose 1.3 percent to $ 18.12 an ounce and platinum 1.2 percent to record $ 921.62, while palladium fell 0.1 percent to $ 2787.64 an ounce.
