Tripoli - Sana
The Libyan parliament in Tobruk condemned the statements of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about his willingness to send Turkish forces to Libya, warning him that "Libya will not be a gateway for the return of the defunct Ottoman occupation to the Arab world."
In a statement carried by Libyan media, the Libyan Defense and National Security Committee called on the Libyan armed forces to target any movement of “Turkish forces in the Libyan territories by land, air, and sea, considering any object or place used by Turkey as a legitimate target of the Libyan armed forces.”
The statement also stressed the need to take an active Arab position to confront the "Turkish invasion of Libya," calling for the necessity of "activating the joint Arab defense agreement."
Since the NATO aggression of NATO in 2011, Libya has turned into an arena for chaos and lawlessness in light of the proliferation of weapons and terrorist organizations that are trying to impose their influence and control on various cities and regions amid the ambitions of NATO regimes, including the Erdogan regime that is trying to use this chaos to impose its influence on it.
