Manchester United continued their disappointing Premier League campaign with a 1-1 draw against 10 Southampton players.
The Wales winger, who came from Swansea City this summer, scored his third goal in his promising career with United with a powerful shot in the tenth minute and later Westergaard leveled Southampton in the 58th minute.
The result left United with five points from four games after a shock 2-0 home defeat by Crystal Palace, while Southampton, who have been fasting from home victories against United for the ninth game, have four.
