The strike in Ile-de-France transport is making a comeback. At the call of five unions (the Unsa-RATP traction pole, SUD, FO, Solidaires and FO-Cheminots on the side of the SNCF), traffic will be disrupted in public transport this Monday, February 17, day of the examination of the bill on pension reform in the National Assembly.
After a conflict of more than 45 days in December and January, then several days of interprofessional mobilization, the unions want to remind the government of their "legitimate claim" and ask again "the withdrawal of the plan of pension system by points", according to a joint press release from the four RATP organizations.
Objective: a “black Monday” in public transport. But the unions are marching in dispersed order. The CGT-RATP thus considers that the Unsa strategy is wrong, because "if Monday, February 17 is a symbolic date in the parliamentary agenda, it is not conducive to the widening of struggles and strikes in others sectors of the country ”.
