A Dutch manufacturer calls roasted onions marketed in Real stores of the "TOP Taste Roasted Onions 280g" product. They could contain metal fragments.
"It can not be ruled out that in some cases small pieces of metal are in the product," said Real in a customer information published by the portal Lebensmittelwarnung.de on Wednesday.
At Real, the product "TOP Taste Roasted Onions 280g" with lot numbers L 9142 (best before date 20.5.2020), L 9143 (21.5.2020) and L 9144 (22.5.2020) was affected.
Real has taken the goods out of the sale. Customers could bring back already purchased articles, it is said. The purchase price will be refunded. In a separate communication, the Dutch producer warned next to the product concerned at Real also of "TOP Taste fried onions 280g" with the lot numbers L 9157 (expiry date 4.6.2020) and L 9158 (5.6.2020).
