More than 300 people were found in subhuman conditions at a school in Kaduna state, Nigeria. Mostly there were children and young people, who had been chained, crowded and also tortured. Some people stated that they had been sexually abused. The police released the children and arrested the owner of the school, who argued that it was a Koranic school. The authorities are already working to reunify children with their families.
