Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Seromolotov said that drones used by terrorists to attack Russian troops in Syria are equipped with Western technology.

"We regularly record the intensive use of this technology to organize attacks on Russian sites in Syria and at the same time the structure of the drones is not handmade," Seromolotov was quoted as saying by Sputnik.
The anti-aircraft was confronted by drones fired by terrorist organizations towards the base of Hmeimim in Latakia countryside yesterday, while the Russian Defense Ministry announced that two planes were destroyed after approaching the base, stressing no injuries or material damage.
Seromolotov stressed that his country calls for legal and technological measures to combat the use of these aircraft by terrorists, noting that Moscow stresses the need to establish cooperation in this regard with all partners in the fight against terrorism and the development of countermeasures of an international legal and technological nature.
