Santiago de Chile Airport affected by the demonstrations

(CNN Spanish) - LATAM, the main airline of Chile, announced this morning via Twitter that they continue to affect the operation due to “the current situation of demonstrations in Chile” and recommends that their customers check if their flight has been canceled before heading to the airport.

The airline made available a link to reschedule online flights canceled on October 20 and 21.

For its part, the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Santiago communicated through its Twitter account that it is assisting passengers stranded in the air terminal with water, food and blankets.

To access the Santiago airport, passengers and taxi drivers must previously request “safe-conduct in the police stations” of the Chilean police.
