I am writing from Tandil, and I would like to talk to you about those people who were stranded.
It is a subject that seems to be
almost intentionally invisible.
We are many families who have relatives stranded in different parts of the world, in my case my husband, in Belgium.
He traveled for work and family reasons.
But who are the stranded?
Where are their faces?
There are thousands, as thousands were those who
they died due to mismanagement of the Government in the pandemic, waiting for vaccines and enduring the theft by the VIP Vaccinations.
There are hundreds and hundreds, like the floods of La Plata who refused and whose identity was erased in various morgues in the province.
There are thousands, like the relatives who
could not accompany and mourn their dead
, while shamefully we witness the Maradona wake show in La Rosada or countless official acts without the slightest protocol.
There are thousands and thousands, like the young people who were cut off from the educational system, abandoned from any formative-emotional bond, evicted from the only door that can open a thread of hope for them.

The stranded are men and women, they have the most diverse ages, they have traveled for multiple reasons: work, health, family, tourism.
Their trips have been paid for with their own resources,
they are not asking the State for special repatriation flights

They only ask that entry quotas be lifted because, among other things, no country prevents the re-entry of residents and citizens under established protocols.

Argentina made an arbitrary decision (as the quota criterion is arbitrary),
it changed the rules of the game for some, while others enter and leave the country with privileges or while the airspace continued to be crossed by private flights coming from abroad. Why do the stranded have to give explanations of their life, spend days sleeping in an airport, desperately seek medication, run the risk of losing work sources and suffer anguish before consular delegations that, although they have officials who would like to give a hand, are limited because from Argentina

Individual freedoms at risk
