Syria's junior football team tied with Pakistan 1-0 in the third and final round of the Asian Cup qualifiers currently held in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan scored first in the 64th minute and our team equalized in the 90th minute.
Our team was eliminated from the qualifiers after losing to Saudi Arabia 1-4 and Oman 0-1 in the first and second rounds respectively.
The Saudi team tops the group standings with six points, followed by Oman with the same score and lags behind goal difference and then our team and Pakistan team with one point.
Later in the day, Oman will meet Saudi Arabia to determine the first and second places.
The qualifying system provides for the qualification of the 11 group champions and the top four teams in second place.
