Syria's youth football team saw their Asian Cup qualifiers lost to Tajikistan 1-0 in the third and final round of their meeting today in the Tajik capital Dushanbe for Group C, which also includes the Maldives and Lebanon.
The Tajik team qualified to the finals by first with 9 points, Lebanon came second with 4 points ahead of our team on goal difference, while Maldives finished fourth with no points.
The first-place winners in each group, along with the top four teams, take second place in the 11 groups to the finals and are joined by the host country, which receives the direct qualification card.
