The revenues of the Tartous Directorate of Transport to date exceeded two billion and seven hundred million pounds distributed between the conduct of transactions for vehicles from registration and transfer of ownership and vacuum and delimitation in addition to income tax.

The director of transport in the province, Eng. Mohamed Younis, said that 2234 vehicles have been registered and ten thousand ownership transfer transactions and seventeen thousand title deeds.

Younis pointed out that the Directorate is in the process of matching all the documents related to the car being treated in the Directorate in addition to conduct a technical examination of the car to make sure there is no forgery.

The Director of Transport pointed out that the establishment of sub-transport departments in the regions of Banias, Safita, Aldrekish, Sheikh Badr, Qadmous and Safsafah, which allowed citizens to review and complete the transactions of their vehicles, noting that the cadres in it are equipped with all the powers to complete transactions registered in Tartous in addition to hosting other bodies related to the work of the Directorate Such as traffic, finance and compulsory insurance offices to facilitate work in these areas.
