The Committee on Budget and Accounts in the People's Assembly discussed the investment budget of the Ministry of Industry, institutions and affiliates for 2020, estimated at 27.5 billion Syrian pounds.
He called on the members of the committee to accelerate the implementation of projects listed in the plan of the ministry and its institutions and companies before the end of this year, and the rehabilitation and rehabilitation of existing and partially destroyed factories and achieve the proportion of planned spending and exceed the routine and attention to the conditions of workers and training them During the development of laboratory capabilities.
In response to the members' interventions, the Minister of Industry Mohammed Maan Zain Al-Abidin stressed the ministry's endeavor to increase the percentage of implementation in replacement and renovation projects during the remainder of the year in addition to the implementation of investment projects. A company that has been partially subverted by terrorism and preparing a number of strategic projects that promote the industrial public sector and increase its contribution to the GDP.
The meeting was attended by managers of institutions and agencies affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Director of Planning and International Cooperation at the Ministry.
