According to MEDA, the committee set up a set of measures to support Syrian companies and participating economic activities and to allow the largest possible number of exhibitors to present their products, stressing that the pavilion is a permanent center throughout the year and not only during the exhibition days because Syrian goods need to be promoted permanently during this period.

Meda explained that the Authority aims to promote its services within the exhibition in addition to holding meetings with industrialists and traders from several countries to discuss the possibility of trade exchange and export of Syrian products to their markets, noting that the exhibition includes the largest number of companies under one roof which meets the desire and needs of any importer, trader or businessman .

For his part, Hanna Issa, Director of Trade Services in the Authority and Director of the Center, pointed out the Authority's keenness to contribute to the advancement of exports and the development of the national economy. .

He explained that the measures of the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade to support the participants aimed to develop the export sector, since Syrian products reach more than 100 countries today despite all the siege conditions and unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria.

He pointed out that there is 50 percent of the free space occupied by some industries that can not accommodate stands such as chemical and petrochemical industries, automobile industry and the manufacture of engines and electric generators, and there are 40 to 50 percent of the areas occupied by stands for food industries, detergents and clothing.
