The 50-year-old unemployed man robbed Luk Fook Jewellery of Mong Kok and held a pistol-like object on the day before, and robbed nearly 2 million yuan of jewellery. The unemployed man was charged with robbery and was detained to Kowloon City today (15th). The Magistrates' Court brought him to the court. He did not need to reply for the time being. The case was postponed to April 16 for further investigation, including the inspection of the pistol-like object, the lighter gasoline used by the defendant in the crime, and the relevant TV footage.

Defendant Li Borong (52 years old), reported as unemployed, was charged with robbing 8 hands, 14 pendants, 7 beads, 24 bracelets, 24 gold bracelets, 62 dragon and phoenix badges, 66 gold bracelets, with a total value of 1.95 million yuan. The defendant did not apply for bail, so the case needs to be remanded later.

In addition, last year another man was assisted in looting a watch in the robbery of Garden Street in Garden Street. Site worker Shi Wenjian (age 22) was charged with robbing 48 brand-name watches worth 2.88 million and 70,000 yuan in cash at Po Tat Watch Decoration in Mong Kok last December. However, there is no need to reply, and the case was postponed until March 17 to allow the police to inspect the mobile phone, perform DNA, and verify fingerprints.
