Colombian Defense Minister Guillermo Botero explained that 100 million pesos (almost $ 30,000) are offered for information that allows the capture of alias 'Mayimbú', and another 50 million pesos (just under $ 15,000), for aka 'Marlon', members of the Armed Residual Group (GAO) R6, who are allegedly responsible for the homicide in Suárez Cauca.

The military dome was moved to the north of Cauca and the Army will install a command post to counter residual Organized Armed Groups that commit crimes in that area and "will maintain the structural attack on drug trafficking in the region," according to a statement.

The Commissioner for Peace in Colombia, Miguel Ceballos, blamed a dissident FARC group on Monday for the deaths in Cauca.

"We confirm from the office of the high commissioner that this is an area that is under the influence of a FARC chief," said Ceballos.
