[Chicago 30th Reuters]-United Airlines <UAL.O> has announced that Boeing <BA.N> 's 737 MAX aircraft will be suspended for another month until December 19th.
As a result, approximately 2800 flights are expected to be canceled in November and 1700 flights in December.
Boeing shows that the regulatory authorities will approve the software defect correction that seems to have caused the 737MAX crash in October, but even if approved, pilot training is necessary. It is expected that an additional 1-2 months will be required to resume operation.
Southwest Airlines <LUV.N> has announced that it will stop operating 737 MAX aircraft until early January next year and American Airlines <AAL.O> until early November.
