Once a year there is an international-scale event in Sweden that draws the spotlight on the local royal house, and makes us completely forget that there is also a palace in the UK, which keeps us busy almost all year round. We are talking, of course, about the Nobel Prize giving ceremony in Stockholm every year in the presence of the Swedish royal family, whose daughters come in line with prestige jewelry, diamonds, prom dresses and crowns.

First to catch our attention was Princess Sofia, the wife of Prince Carl Philip. Those who joined the Swedish royal family in 2015 after years of modeling, among other things nude, and participating in a reality show, have already been completely assimilated to the royal style. She arrived latex wearing a blue off-shoulder dress with apple sleeves. On top of her was a diamond crown with blue stones of the same color as the dress. This is the same crown that her wedding wore, too, except that she replaced the emeralds that were originally pearls. Also, Princess Sofia wore blue earrings, in the same shade of stones set on the crown.

Sofia's majestic, prestigious and tight block has almost no trace of her wild past. But only almost. The only reminder of who she was before marriage can be found on her back, glancing behind the blue off-shoulder dress: a sun tattoo, a reminder of the free soul she once was.

Princess Sofia's sister-in-law, Princess Victoria - Prince Carl Philip's older sister and Swedish heiress, arrived at the Nobel ceremony dressed as a future queen. Victoria wore a large asymmetrical dress with one very apple sleeve and a second sleeve revealing a shoulder. The dress has a huge black-and-white upholstery skirt and is adorned with stones and royal pins. On her head is a famous crown of the Swedish royal family, which she has owned since 1881.

Princess Victoria's little sister and Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine, wore a pink dummy-strapless dress in a shade of Barbie. I mean, it looks like a strapless dress but actually has a transparent top. Just a look from the back betrays this fact, so you see the buttons along the spine to the back of the neck. Madeleine also wore a familiar diamond crown from the royal family, which she has owned since the late 19th century and is inspired by the Russian royal house of that century. In addition, she wore very large earrings set with diamonds.

The latest in the royal family to attend the official ceremony is Queen Sylvia, wife of King Carl XVII Gustav and Victoria's mother, Carl Philip and Madeleine. The queen wore a dress with a clean upper and a gold top and a large crown worn for the family in 1860.
