After the United Kingdom in January and Italy in March, it is France's turn to deplore 100,000 deaths from Covid-19 since the start of this pandemic, this Thursday, April 15, 2021. And this number communicated by Health public service in France covers only part of the story: it only takes into account people who have died in hospital or in a medico-social establishment, not those who have succumbed to the disease at home, for example.
In addition, the Center for Epidemiology on Medical Causes of Death is still working on the analysis of death certificates to more precisely identify confirmed Covid-19 cases, those suspected and people who have succumbed to other causes.
