The five workers, aged 25 to 43, were indicted for working as clerks in a brothel run by a former Israeli athletics champion.

The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office recently filed an indictment in the city Magistrate's Court against Tami Greenberg (40), Carolyn Ella Chen (42), Ekaterina Petrovsky (25), Elizabeth Kogan (25) and Irena Gordon (43) for pimping for prostitution and possession of a place. For the sake of prostitution.

The five women were indicted for working as clerks in a brothel chain run by Svetlana Gandzilov, a former Israeli athletics champion.

According to the indictment, filed by attorneys Elad Dayan and Inbar Goldstoff, the defendants served as clerks in the brothels run by Svetlana Gandzilov in Herzliya, Petah Tikva, Raanana, Ramat Gan and Givatayim. They have details about the cost of sex services, the duration of the service, a description of the employee's appearance and the address of the brothel.

In addition, the defendants updated the working women regarding the arrival of customers at the brothel, received a report from them on the receipt of the money from the customers and on the dates of the arrival and departure of the customers, in order to coordinate the arrival of additional customers.

During the working days, the defendants reported to Gandzilov what was happening on duty and the number of customers who visited the brothel.

The brothels operated in a systematic, organized manner and under clear rules written by Gandzilov, among others as follows: Each brothel employed one worker a day, who worked a long shift of about 12 hours in a row, during which she provided sex services to up to 20 clients daily.

The women would work intermittently in all the brothels, every day in a different apartment.

According to the indictment, from May 2015 until her arrest, Gandzilov ran a network of businesses to engage in prostitution, in various apartments throughout Gush Dan and the Sharon.

As part of the management of the brothels, she employed women from Israel and abroad in providing sexual services.
