With the move to 2022, the police released tonight (Saturday) the data of the enforcement actions carried out by the traffic department during the New Year's celebrations.

Data from the Traffic Division show that 123 drivers were caught driving under the influence of alcohol on the eve of the new civil year.

Also, 159 driver’s licenses were revoked for 30 days for drivers who committed serious traffic offenses.



116 vehicles were disabled for 30 days and taken to a storage lot due to serious traffic offenses on New Year’s Eve.

A total of ️140 reports were recorded for speeding.
