Thirteen people were killed and several others injured due to an explosion caused by a gas leak at the Sina Medical Center, north of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The head of the Tehran Emergency Center said in a statement today that 13 people were killed and others wounded in the fire that broke out at the Sina Medical Center this evening after the gas leak.
For his part, Assistant to the Governor of Tehran for Security Affairs Hamid Reza Godrezi told Iranian television that the cause of the explosion at the medical center was a gas leak.
A previous toll indicated that three people were injured in the explosion.
