Around the world, the French are among those who are still the most reluctant to pay for online content and especially information.
And for good reason.
According to Ipsos' latest international Global Advisor study, which appears on Tuesday, 15% say they are ready to pay for reliable information.
"There is room for progress towards remuneration for content,"
observes Yves Bardon, head of the College Center of Ipsos.
When it comes
to information, which circulates in a world of continuous flows, its value is only remunerated if it is clearly perceived, which allows publishers to do very well. "

The global average of those who would pay for information is 27%.
In Europe, the Swedes (at 34%), the Dutch (32%) or the Poles (29%) are the most mature on the subject.
