2nd Bundesliga: Dynamo Dresden and Hamburger SV draw

In the first game of the second half of the second division, HSV took the lead thanks to Robert Glatzel's tenth goal of the season. But Dynamo rewarded itself for a courageous appearance - with the "home goalkeeper".

Dynamo Dresden scored just 20 goals in the first 18 games of the season.

Not enough for coach Alexander Schmidt, who wanted to see his team "offensive and active".

His players implemented this: the first seven shots on goal were all fired by the hosts.

HSV only got into the game with difficulty and repeatedly had problems with the high-running Dresden team.

It took 37 minutes for the guests to take the first offensive action: Sonny Kittel drove the ball forward on a counterattack via the left, Robert Glatzel found his substitution and was able to lob Kevin Broll safely.

It was the tenth goal of the season for the 28-year-old.

Dynamo now knocked on.

After a bad pass from Chris Löwe, Kittel and Faride Alidou missed the 2-0 lead in front of 1000 spectators just two minutes later when they had a double chance.

Daferner meets as almost always at home

In the second half the picture was reversed: Hamburger SV were optically superior, created chances – and Dresden scored.

Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer played a strong pass to Julius Kade, who crossed from the inside left towards the second post, where Christoph Daferner headed in (61st minute).

Daferner scored seven of his eight goals this season at home in the Rudolf Harbig Stadium.

Königsdörffer then missed the greatest chance of scoring the winning goal for Dresden, who was denied by HSV goalkeeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes (69'), while Kittel missed Hamburg's second goal at the other end (84').
