30 million first-time vaccinated against Covid-19: what are the next steps?

DECRYPTION - Almost half of French people have received a first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. An encouraging step that has just been passed, but the race is not yet over.


It's official, France has passed the 30 million first-time vaccines mark this Saturday, June 12, and around 15 million people have received a complete vaccination schedule.

Objective achieved!

Thank you to all those who are mobilizing for vaccination,

”welcomed the head of government on Twitter.

If a new step has been taken a few days ahead of the initial schedule, there is still a long way to go to achieve collective immunity - which is obtained for 80% of the vaccinated French population.

To date, nearly 45% of citizens have received a first injection.

Then the 65-74 year olds (two doses: 56% and one dose: 84%);

in third place, 50-64 year olds (31% - 68%
