Four people were killed in a small passenger plane crash on Beaver Island, Michigan, USA.
The Associated Press quoted local authorities as saying today that four out of five people on board the plane died when it crashed at an airport on Beaver Island, west of Mackinaw, yesterday evening, noting that the causes of the accident were not yet known.
In turn, the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement that the twin-engine (Brittan Norman) plane was on its way from Charlevois in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan when the accident occurred, adding that it will participate in an investigation led by the National Transportation Safety Board to determine the causes of the crash.
