6 years later: Senior officials in the EPA will be prosecuted for the oil leak in the Evrona Reserve
The State Attorney's Office informed past and present company officials about their prosecution subject to a hearing.
The incident, which took place in 2014 and is considered one of the worst ecological disasters in Israel, was allegedly caused as a result of work carried out in violation of safety procedures.
