A 60-year-old woman was killed today (Thursday) after falling from a pit that opened on the balcony on the third floor, in a building under renovation on Rabbi Kaniel Street in the Hadar neighborhood of Haifa.
MDA teams that arrived at the scene provided medical treatment that included resuscitation operations, but were eventually forced to determine her death.
Emergency medicine paramedic Moshe Rosenthal said: "The wounded woman was lying in the building's yard unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing after falling from a great height."
He added: "We provided her with medical treatment and performed advanced resuscitation operations but her injury was fatal and in the end we were forced to determine her death."
