Seven Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails continue their hunger strike in protest of its continued crimes against the prisoners.
The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners Affairs said in a statement today that the prisoners are Kayed Phosphorous, who has been on strike for 92 days, Miqdad Al Qawasmeh for the 85th day, Alaa Al-Araj for 68 days, Hisham Abu Hawash for 59 days, Shadi Abu Aker for the 51st day, Ayyad Al Harimi for 22 days, and Khalil Abu Aram for the fifth consecutive day. Noting that they are determined to continue their strike amid serious health conditions.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli occupation prisons face harsh detention conditions, including about 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
