At least 14 people were injured after a car crashed into a restaurant bar and caused a fire in Arlington County, Virginia, authorities said on Twitter.
In total, eight patients were taken to hospital, four with critical injuries, police said.
"Doctors are still treating other patients at the scene," she added.

According to a Fire Department spokesperson who spoke to the NBC News affiliate in Washington, the car crash into Ireland's Four Courts restaurant occurred at 6:45 pm.
The firefighters also assured that the fire was controlled and the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
The identities of the injured have not been released.
"I was talking to some regular customers and I heard a bang. We all heard an explosion, so I turned around and saw all the debris," Mary Reilly, a waitress there, told NBC Washington.
