Abdel Qader, a teacher and interested in cultural affairs, succeeded in making a documentary series on literary, intellectual and artistic strengths in this city replete with flags and cultural figures.

Bodour, who graduated from the Arab Institute of Music and currently holds the presidency of the United Arab Association for Literature and Arts in Aleppo, grew up in a rich cultural environment since his childhood.

Dodour's passion for culture and its flags prompted him to launch a comprehensive and diverse cultural program in cooperation with the Aleppo Culture Directorate throughout the year on a weekly basis, and to present this program within the theaters of the Directorate of Culture in a distinctive and striking manner.

Baddour told SANA reporter, “My thoughts were always directed towards documentation, and the idea started circulating in my head since 2009, so I decided to present something new that remains a reference in the world of culture and literature in the city of Aleppo.

Bodour added, "I began showing these documentaries to the public through cultural platforms with the presence of the character that is being talked about by hosting it within the activity and dialogue with it directly in front of the audience, while documenting the dialogue, photographing it and keeping it in a series of episodes, at the end of each episode honoring this character."

As for the content and content of these documentary activities, Bodour shows that the series includes 5 titles documenting the personalities present in the cultural scene in general, where the first part bore the title of special personalities such as Abdullah Moussalli, Ahmed Qurna, nicknamed Tayeb Al-Halabi, Drs Zuhair Amir Buraq, Muhammad Ali Houria and writer Walid Ikhlasi.

The second part of the series bore the title (Sheikhs of Literature in Aleppo), such as Ahmed Fakhoury, Samir Tahan, Diaa Kasabji, Abdel-Fattah Qalaji, and Muhammad Raouf Bashir.

As for the third title, it bore the name (flags of the city of Aleppo), such as the researcher and archaeologist Abdullah Hajjar, and the fourth (creatives) hosted theatrical director Elia Kajmini.

Bodour devoted a part of his series to personalities who left our world, entitled (Departed Remain in Memory), which included talking about characters such as the writer Ali Bodour, the poet Abdullah Yorki Hallaq Sahib, the founder of Al-Dhad magazine, Mamoun Al-Jabri, the artist Ahmed Kaddah and the plastic artist Wahid Maghareba.

He explains the role of the mechanism used in documenting these personalities who have important productions on the cultural level, as he used to engage in dialogue with them, collect documents, all pictures about them, honor certificates and their literary productions for them, and then start preparing the documentary film and biography of this character, which requires him a great time and effort.

Last year, when cultural activity stopped due to the Corona pandemic, Bodour worked to broadcast his documentary series from inside his home via the Internet on social media platforms and the pages of the Directorate of Culture, which increased the number of followers of this activity, which prompted him to complete his project and present the fifth title of the documentary series, which came under the name ( Syrians around the world).

This part included talking about creative Syrian personalities abroad who played a role in perpetuating Syrian culture around the world.

In turn, he concluded his speech by saying, "I dealt with art, thought and literature, and I am still continuing to present a documentary series on the most important cultural pioneers in my city to contribute to preserving and documenting Syrian cultural products and disseminating them to the world."
