The City Police dismantled a gang of at least five criminals who pretended to be operators of a telecommunications company
disguising themselves with their uniforms
to enter the homes of customers and
rob them
.
According to the complaints, once the criminals were inside the home, they
threatened the occupants with firearms and stripped them
of their belongings.
The suspects mobilized in a white van with the company logo and wore the company's uniform.
The same gang also made clandestine connections.
Seven people
were
charged
and it is estimated that they generated a loss to the Telecom-Cablevisión company of around
700,000 pesos
.
Together with the study of the crime map and the analysis of the security cameras, progress was made in the investigation until it was possible to obtain the
license plate
of the impostors' vehicle and it was possible to find the whereabouts of the criminals at the intersection of the avenue. Cramer and Manuela Pedraza street, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of

After identifying the five individuals, the police seized the van in the presence of witnesses, finding inside a
large quantity of license plates
,
two firearms
, cell phones, handy-type communication equipment, burglary tools, seals, identification magnets. of telecommunications company and work clothes of the same.
All these elements and the Kangoo truck were
kidnapped
.
The Functional Unit of Instruction and Trial of the Vicente López Oeste District, headed by Dr. Alejandro Musso, ordered the
transfer of the accused
to the Fight Against Organized Crime Department of the City Police.
This case was initiated by complaints from the Telecom-Cablevisión company due to the existence of irregularities in the internet and telephony connections in neighbors who had requested the service through the Mercado Libre portal, where they were also given the possibility that for a payment have a service guarantee for 18 or 36 months.
Consequently, the Special Investigations Section of the Computer Investigation Department of the City Police led field tasks and located, with the joint work of other forces, different customer addresses, thanks to the vouchers and lists delivered by Mercado Libre, and from the people offering these adulterated modems.

One of the points raided was in Inclán and Castro, in Boedo, where the officers seized two Chevrolet Cruze and Volkswagen Gol Trend cars and a VW Amarok pickup.
In a house in the suburbs, the officers seized
a Mercedes Benz
GLE 400 car, balaclava, two HT Baofeng communication equipment,
sweaters, jackets and pants with the legend Cablevisión
, while in another address in the Province they found four decoders, two watches and bills .
In 1600 Castro, also in Boedo, the police seized a Smith Wesson pistol, caliber 9 millimeters with adulterated numbering, with a magazine loaded with fifteen rounds and another magazine with 10 rounds.
Another raid was carried out in Cochabamba at 3600, where documentation was seized.
While at the place of detention in Cramer and Manuela Pedraza, the officers seized a Renault Kangoo car, license plates, two firearms, cell phones, burglary tools, two HT communication equipment, clothing and identification credentials of the companies of cable and telephony.
In one of the places inspected, on Avenida Eva Perón at 6300, in the Mataderos neighborhood, the officers found a cell phone, a notebook, two amplifiers, three routers, three switches, 100 pins, 7 dividers, 200 RG10, 10 connectors RG11 connectors, 169 output pins, 22 internet cables, 7 line attenuators, 4 eight-pin pins, 600 cable ties, 5 yellow network cables, 3 HDMI cables, 3 Bulcan tapes, 1 200 meter RG6 coil and 7 modems .
In this place one of the defendants had set up a
clandestine distribution network
and charged 50 neighbors to provide the service, both Internet and TV.
In addition, in Alberti in 1600, in San Cristóbal, an adulterated decoder was found.
The proceedings continued in the Province of Buenos Aires, in the cities of San Isidro and Pergamino, and in the Province of Santa Fe, in Rosario and Esperanza.
In those properties, a connection cable, 7 notebooks, 29 adulterated modems, 3 routers, 4 decoders, 8 hard drives, 65 meters of coaxial cable and 7 cell phones were seized.
