The team in blue--white beat Greece 30:34 and will meet the winner between the Czech Republic and Lithuania tomorrow • Coach, Asaf Levy: With all the long week we've had, and we've done amazing things - this victory won't be worth anything if we don't do the same thing tomorrow."

A great achievement for Israel's youth handball team, who qualified for the finals of the European championships tier B this evening (Friday) after beating Greece 30:34.

The final match will be held tomorrow (19:30, Shlomo Hall, free entry) against the winner of the match between the Czech Republic and Lithuania.

In doing so, the youth team completes a streak of four victories in the championship with a perfect balance.

A win in the final will grant a ticket to advance to the U-19 World Championship next summer, and to the U-20 European Championship in two years, and as mentioned, you will be able to complete a dream summer for Israeli handball after the reserve team's victory in the B-level U-20 European Championship, at the end of last month in Bulgaria.

Assaf Levy

,

coach of the youth team: "With all the long week we've had, and we've done amazing things - this victory won't be worth anything if we don't do the same thing tomorrow, but about today - first of all we have to tell the kids a lot, a lot, a lot, breathe. We started well, and at a level Like on Wednesday against Lithuania. Later the balls didn't go in, with fouls, penalties and bursts. We were still in the game thanks to the defense.

At the beginning of the half, the two Greeks reversed the result, and it seemed that it was not going in our direction.

The guys still showed a lot of character, even those who came off the bench brought us extras.

I'm glad we did it nicely in the end.

Tomorrow is what really matters.

I want the whole hall to be full, encouraging and supportive."
