A masseur for the Spanish Olympic cycling team has tested positive for covid-19 this Friday.
However, all the cyclists in the team have tested negative in the same tests on one day of the first races.
This Saturday at 11.00 Japanese time, 4.00 in the morning in Spain, cycling begins in the Olympic Games, when the Olympic road race is played, with Alejandro Valverde at the head of the Spanish team.
The president of the federation, José Luis López Cerrón, has affirmed that the organizers have confirmed that they will be able to run thanks to their negative today.
However, the coach, Pascual Momparler, will not be able to be there because he shared a room with the masseur who has tested positive, although the coach has tested negative.
The women's coach, Gemma Pascual, will lead the team.
