Spain and Sweden tied 0-0 in the first round of Group E of the European Football Championship.
None of the players managed to score during the match hosted by the "La Cartuja" stadium in Seville, to end as it began without goals.
The Spanish team dominated the match, and its players took turns to waste opportunities, the most dangerous of which was Alvaro Morata's singling out of the Swedish goalkeeper in the 38th minute.
With this tie, the two teams raised their score to a point in second and third places behind the Slovak team, which leads Group E with three points, after its victory earlier today over its Polish counterpart with two goals to one.
