The writer Jamal saw that her work in the legal profession does not contradict literature, especially that few words in the world of law change the course of a case, and her work helped her more in discovering the human soul and its secrets and not making it the hanger on which we throw our mistakes and our possession of the will and thought that makes us able to adapt our lives, so the heroes came The main ones in the novel are “time, conscience, truth and freedom of choice.”

Journalist George Ibrahim Shawit described “It is not what it seems” as an emotional work that delves into the depths of the human soul and the characters in it lead themselves towards their destinies, and in it there is the spiritual aspect and the search for the transcendence of values ​​and morals, in addition to the suspense imposed by the police events, considering that the novel was based on more than one formula such as poetry and law And psychology and the world of fantasy and drama through the cinematic fragmentation that we rarely see in fictional works, which in his opinion makes it suitable for being a dramatic work for television.

Lawyer and former Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Hassan Safiya found the work full of love, wisdom, and the human search for himself and his personal choices, through which the writer wanted to say: freedom of choice is what gives human life value and uniqueness.

The novel, published by Dall House for Publishing and Distribution, is 239 pages long.
