A number of Palestinians were injured and others were arrested today, during the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of an anti-settlement demonstration in the West Bank city of Salfit.

Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces assaulted bullets and poison gas bombs on the participants in the demonstration organized by the Palestinian national forces in Salfit to refuse to establish a new settlement outpost on the lands of Al Ras, west of the city, which led to the injury of a number of Palestinians and the arrest of three young men.

Yesterday, the occupation forces stormed the Al-Ras area and bulldozed 50 dunums of Palestinian agricultural lands to establish a settlement outpost.
