A road in Tel Aviv collapsed due to a sinkhole - the nearby streets were closed to traffic
A pit about 2 meters in diameter opened up in the ground on Herbat Samuel Street near the promenade.

A pit opened today (Tuesday) in the ground on Herbat Samuel Street in Tel Aviv near the promenade.
Police closed both directions to traffic.
There were no casualties in the incident, and police asked drivers not to come to the area.
The sinkhole about two meters in diameter appeared on the road near the French embassy towards the west coast.
Apart from Herbert Samuel, the nearby streets were also closed to vehicular traffic.
