Serbian basketball is known for the many talents it exports to the highest levels.
However, there are also quite a few cases of players with a slightly "overlapping" head who were involved in quite a few bizarre and violent incidents.
The case of Saba Lesich is one of them.
The power forward, who played last season in Boracay Čačak from the top league in Serbia and is now without a team, was arrested after allegedly severely assaulting three people in an incident in which his brother, his father and another woman were also involved.
According to the report in the Serbian media, Lesic was traveling in a car with his wife, mother, brother and father when a "misunderstanding on the road" with a vehicle in which there were Croatian passengers led to a provocation from one side, and hence the situation escalated.
According to the report, Lishich, 34, 2.06 meters, attacked the driver with a hammer, the son of a local policeman, and he was taken to the hospital with facial fractures.
In addition, the woman who was with Lesich spat on another passenger in the car, a 13-year-old girl, while her sister, a 28-year-old woman, also received curses and threats.
Was he actually the victim?

Later, another car with the father of Lesich's victim (53 years old) arrived in the area, and he was also allegedly attacked by the basketball player with a hammer.
Due to the fact that the attackers are Croats, the case also caused an uproar in the media in the neighboring country.
The strained relations between the two nations have been known to be strained for many years.
"Before entering the village, a car cut me off and entered my lane in a dangerous way," Lishich gave his version of the incident.
"My family and I were facing real danger. They immediately started insulting me on the basis of my nationality and said they were tired of us. My wife got out of the car to see what was going on, and a 13-year-old girl jumped on her and started beating her. I separated them, we got into the car and entered the village half an hour later Two men arrived, one middle-aged and one younger. They shouted at us, 'You murdered our parents in 1995, we will murder you now and started attacking my brother.'
The Serbian basketball player, who also played for Partizan and Red Star Belgrade, continued: "My brother defended himself, and then the middle-aged man went to get a metal chain and started hitting his mother and then came in my direction. At first I ran away and then I realized that I had to neutralize the weapon he had. The young man also attacked me and then I realized that I simply had to defend myself. I reacted, and the young man ran away immediately. We wanted to make them leave as quickly as possible."
Lesich and his brother were arrested following the incident and later released, although according to the evidence they threatened the police officers who arrived at the scene.
