Knives, crutches, tear gas canisters, sticks… The young people, who clashed on Saturday May 14, on the edge of Fontenay-aux-Roses and Bagneux (Hauts-de-Seine) were visibly gathered for a settlement of account in due form.
Witnesses have also seen some of these young people fight.
They were then about fifty, not far from the Fontenay rugby stadium, on the green belt.
Police deployment in the area
Faced with this outburst of violence, many passers-by and witnesses to the scene dialed 17 to alert the police shortly before 4 p.m.
The police deployed in large numbers in the area, in particular rue Georges-Bailly, an artery close to the place of the confrontation.
The two-tone sirens scared off some of the groups, but there were still around 30 people there when the police cordoned off the area.

About fifteen of these young people, minors for almost all of them, were arrested and placed in police custody for taking part in an armed crowd.
They are between 14 and 18 years old and, according to their statements to the police, they "did not see any weapons", "do not recognize" the crutches, knives and other pieces of wood.
And none of them explained the origin of the confrontation.
For twelve of the fifteen young people arrested, for lack of elements formally implicating them in the fight, the prosecution dismissed them.
The other three are summoned for criminal reparation next September.
